I ALWAYS say; “There’s NEVER enough girlfriend time!”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that Lin Sue Cooney is a creative genius. She’s so much more than an on-air personality; she’s a wife, a wonderful mother, a friend and she has an impeccable talent for creating beautiful things for your home and family. I couldn’t help but be excited when she asked me to photograph the December class for her company, Sweet-Stops. Even more, Lin Sue has the ability to make you feel as if you’re the only person in the room and she gets the concept of girl-time! That’s why the classes that she and her two girlfriends (business partners), Cindy Leech and Debi Rigg offer work so well. Their instruction is direct and easy to understand (yes, they love to empower one to do it on their own first!) but they also provide one-on-one assistance if you need a little extra help to get it “just right”. They understand the value of creating an atmosphere we as women enjoy; classes are always held in a beautiful Phoenix home so you can let your inner creative genius out, be relaxed, comfortable and have some great girl-time!

The Burlap Christmas Tree Class was Saturday, November 23rd and what an adventure it was! I pulled up to the house with excitement and anticipation as to how the day would unfold. As I set up my camera gear, I could hear ladies and their girlfriends chit-chatting, giggling and sharing the start of what would be an amazing afternoon together. Those who know me know that I LOVE to photograph pretty things, so I couldn’t wait to get started to document the story of this fun-filled day!

When you take one of Sweet-Stops’ classes you will always have your complete craft kit provided. These ladies do all the hard work on the front end to make sure you have the maximum time to create and enjoy yourself. Plus, they prepare a delicious meal to sustain you during the next few hours where you might need extra energy to smile and laugh with your besties. How great is that? Lunch was a warm and savory chicken enchilada soup. Oh…I don’t want to forget that they always share their recipes too—you can find this delicious (and easy!) soup recipe on Sweet-Stops’ Facebook page (link below).
