What a precious story—it’s our pleasure to introduce you to Rob and Ivia!. These two are a match made in heaven. Seriously—they were an answer to prayer for one another!
It was a super hot day, but we all managed to drink lots of fluids and do our best to stay cool. We had so much fun during their engagement session—and while you could cook an egg right on the sidewalk, they were still just as sweet and spontaneous as ever! I’ll tell you what, Ivia is a firecracker! Rob has certainly met his match. At home, Rob is the chef. He surprises her with delightful meals that he literally prepares all himself. Maybe he’ll even share a few recipes for our grooms one day? I hope so, because his recipes sounded amazing! So yes, he cooks her delicious food and she just loves him for it!
So here comes the surprise! You’ll see in the images below that Rob proposed to Ivia a second time with a ring that he had made for her. The one she had been wearing was just a placeholder until her beautifully designed ring was ready. Lucky for Rob, he received a call from the jeweler right before our engagement session and we were able to capture him asking her to marry him and this time with the ring that was meant to be on her finger forever. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Watching Rob propose a second time—it was wonderful. It’s a gift and treasure as a photographer to have the opportunity to witness such sweet and precious moments. Rob had totally surprised her—the tears were proof!
Congratulations, lovebirds! You both are so deserving of a long and happy life together—filled with all the love you’re capable of sharing with one another! We are honored to be part of your special day!
