Meet Christopher & Emilia. They are so adorable!!! Their love, like so many other peoples’, began in high school. But theirs had a twist and a secret…you see, Emilia is from Sweden and during high school she was an exchange student to the United States (the twist). She met Christopher and really liked him even though to some degree he was “a typical American guy…jeans, t-shirt, not much of a sense of style.” After a while they started dating but they had to keep it a secret. “Why?” you might ask. Well, because Christopher lived under the very same roof as Emilia as part of her host family, and dating members of a host family is strictly verboten for exchange students (you can get sent home and kicked out of the program if you’re caught). But love does what love wants and their relationship has only grown and blossomed since then, totally unimpeded by the end of high school, Emilia’s return to Sweden, and whatever else life had to throw in their way.

Nice signs, there, Kristi! 🙂 GREAT photos, too!
Yes…they are!!! I’d like to add that I’m a big fan of handmade signage–and particularly anything designed and made by the talented Maria Fossler from The Point of Elegance – http://www.thepointofelegance.com. You’ll see the beautiful signage she handmade above–and yes, that’s really her handwriting! 🙂 Thank you, Maria!!!
