We knew the minute we met with Elysa and Kyle that we were going to photograph their wedding and capture their love–we just “clicked!” There’s no question that these two are amazing together—they fit like puzzle pieces! The stories they shared with us during that first meeting all came together in pretty hues of bright pink and sapphire blue. We’re so happy to share this beautiful wedding day with you.
Elysa’s best girlfriends, Celina Torres and Diva Moreno doted on her in the bridal dressing room and as everyone was preparing for the moment that Elysa would become a “Mrs.”, special stories and memories were made that you just know you’ll hear all three of them chatting about in 20 years!
One reason why we love to photograph weddings (I’m sure I’ve shared this before), is to witness not just the love of the couple that’s getting married, but also the love of every family member and friend that comes to celebrate on wedding day. To see so many bright and loving faces that are filled with joy—how could you NOT want to be a part of that? It’s also neat to see all the special traditions that come along with wedding day—I think my favorite so far was Elysa’s father-daughter dance at her reception. Her lovely mom, Renee put together a slide show of photographs of Elysa, her younger brother, and her dad from when she was a baby and little girl growing up. She was definitely daddy’s girl—and the family history and tight-knit relationships that these photographs shared with the guests that day were so special, I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

It was our first time photographing at Trilogy at Vistancia. It’s a delightful, gorgeous venue—and Sylvanna Anderson was a dream coordinator; she gave great attention to every detail. It was also our first time working with Chad Trapeur (and his precious wife, Kelsey!) from All American DJ. He was so much fun and such a great choice for this couple! All of the vendors below worked hard to give Elysa and Kyle an incredible day—thank you!
