I just love to photograph weddings in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area—I really do! I love to capture all the special moments that weddings bring for families and friends to share. I love to watch the interaction; I love to see all the smiles and winks…the tears and the laughter, the sweet kisses that are blown to each other…the pure happiness. It’s a privilege and honor to be chosen to capture some of life’s most precious and intimate moments, we’re just so blessed that we are wedding photographers!
I really was hoping that I could wait a tad while longer after the wedding to write this post as I’m still just a little emotional about Mike & Bethany’s wedding. It’s only been 3 days but I just LOVE these images and have to share them! It might seem as if we’ve known these two for a lifetime (we just met this past fall at our initial consultation meeting) but really, 6 months isn’t all that long ago. After spending time with them and hearing their story, I just completely fell in love and couldn’t wait to get them in front of my camera for their engagement photos. They’re so perfect together (I agree with their Maid of Honor, I guess there is something to that eHarmony!) and after all these months in wedding planning bliss (I say that jokingly!) their wedding day was finally here! Bright and bold colors of burnt orange and bright navy blue, every detail was attended to, every bit of this day was a reflection of the bride and groom.
Well….we’re excited beyond belief to introduce you to Mike and Bethany Christiansen. Our newest Dreamcicle wedding couple. As I mentioned above, this sweet and precious pair married this past Saturday at the Kerr Cultural Center in Scottsdale, AZ. It was a beautiful sunny spring day; filled with so much love, I’m certain everyone could feel it valley-wide. I found myself tearing up more than once—it’s sure a day that will remain in my memory for a long, long time.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Michael Christiansen—may your amazing love for one another continue to bless those around you through this life and into eternity!
