I recently read an anonymous quote that said “Once you have learned love, you will have learned to live”. I am certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that when Sherry entered Dominick’s life 5 years ago, he finally came alive. It doesn’t matter if we’re out for Starbucks or sharing a meal together, the minute he looks into Sherry’s eyes you can see there isn’t anything in this world more important than her happiness. It’s really that special.
We love photographing weddings and being a photographer right here in Phoenix. We cover all of Arizona and as a result, rarely have the opportunity to get as close to our brides and grooms like we did with these two. We’ve had an amazing and fun connection with Dominick and Sherry since they came across our path in February at a local networking event and as we became friends, we truly learned who each of these sweet souls are as people. Over the months leading up to their wedding we were watching love unfold before us—a love that tells you that these two were not just meant to be together forever—they were put here on this earth as part of a greater plan and due to the amazing love have for one another, they’re such a blessing to those around them.
Brian and I were so excited on wedding day, we couldn’t wait to get to the venue and get started documenting what would be their most precious day of their lives thus far. As we photographed their wedding, it felt like we were there as part of the family. We got there early and helped set up, we started getting our detail shots and patiently waited for the bride and groom to arrive. Her family was so loving and sweet—everyone did such a great job helping her get ready!
Finally it was time to walk down the aisle and Sherry was so beautiful—she was just glowing from the inside out. As soon as we saw the look on Dominick’s face when his beautiful bride appeared, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house—including ours! Just going back and processing the images for them brought tears to us again…as we relived their moments and their sweet spoken vows for one another. We love you, Dominick and Sherry! Thank you for allowing us to be with you on your special day and share in the special, special love you have for each other!
It’s our honor to introduce you to 2 of our very dear and close friends, Dominick & Sherry Cano. Married on the beautiful evening of the 12th of October, 2012 in Mesa at Inside the Bungalow. Congratulations and here’s to a long life filled with love and devotion for one another. <3
