Spring Wedding Colors for Brides! Lemons, Limes and Everything Nice!

Spring Wedding Colors for Brides! Lemons, Limes and Everything Nice!

Lemons, limes, and everything nice! Thanks to all of you listed below; our team whose inspiration made for an incredible May afternoon for this styled shoot! Thanks also to our good friends, Jill & Chris Smith, from Jill Lauren Photography, who photographed right along next Brian and I–creating their own set of gorgeous images from this memorable day. Our husbands worked together on lighting and were a fantastic team in helping Jill and I stay focused on getting the right shot! We’re so blessed!

All beautiful colors on the Pantone 2012 color palette brought together by Denise Nicolette of What A Day Weddings! These colors were perfect for a not quite summer wedding on the beautiful patio of the Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel in Tempe. Denise is simply amazing when it comes to creating an atmosphere of beautiful wedding style–she has an incredible knack for putting the right pieces together–and each one is as gorgeous as the next!

Our bride and groom for the day, Dakota Langaker and Mike Nicolette have a long history. First off, let’s just get right to the point, Dakota is one of the most stunning brides I’ve ever seen! Her ice blue eyes pop and her skin tone is perfect for photographing during the golden hour. She’s amazing…equally as sweet and precious as she is beautiful. Our handsome groom, Mike, loves Slappin’ Da Bass for local band The Technicolors and going to the movies..both are great people that we’re proud to have met. These two have even traveled to New York City together–take a look at the photographs of the scrap book pages that Denise brought for authenticity. She doesn’t forget a thing, I’ll tell ya! 🙂 Their color combination as bride and groom of her lime green parasol; her red shoes and his red tie are beautifully coordinated! While the aren’t actually a couple, the certainly could play the part well because of their long history of being friends!

This was the first time we as photographers were priviledged to work with Sheraton Phoenix Catering Manger, Deborah Medina.. in fact we met about 2 minutes prior to the shoot! She’s a very gracious hostess, any bride would be thrilled to entrust her wedding into such great hands with this gorgeous location under Deb’s care. And… the fireplace is amazing! It’s just as beautiful in person!

The flowers and wedding bouquet were provided from Lavishly Luxe Florist and their tag line “Because every girl deserves her dream”…pretty much says it all. Even though we haven’t met in person just yet, Charisma, you are amazing–the colors and flower types that were selected were beyond perfect and were a beautiful compliment to the rest of the decor. Thank you!

Karen Carlson, from All Things New once again inspires us with her works of art and beauty creating the lovely Linens and Escort Board. She worked closely with Denise choosing fabrics and sewing those lovely table runners–together they rock, don’t they?

Sweet treats and beautiful cakes were again an incredible match to the day and were provided from Bonnie at Inspired Occasions. Those who know me know I LOVE wedding cake and trust me when I say this… you can’t go wrong with any delicious cake from Bonnie! Just look at her works of art and I’m sure you’ll be more than impressed… especially knowing anything you get from her will be absolutely delicious!
